To start the application, run the application file SuperFlexibleSyncX. Settings are stored in the file .SuperFlexibleSyncX in each user's home directory.
Known Issues
-
Under the Sawfish window manager only, (at least with v1.01, e.g. Gnome 1.4), it can frequently occur that the current window or message is not the topmost window. Thus, you may have to "dig" in order to see the window that currently needs your attention. The topmost, visible window may be locked until you find the window or message that you need to confirm!
-
Program says, F1 for help, but the help is not included yet. However, you
can download the
Windows help file if you have a viewer for .hlp files.<
-
no 64 bit I/O for the Linux version yet (the max. file size is presumably just below 2GB)
-
Program cannot set time and date of symbolic links, so they will appear again next time if synchronizing in both directions.
-
When copying files such as README to a vfat partition, they will end up being lowercase on vfat so that they will appear as orphans again on the next run.
